FAQ:
Transporting my cake:
The best way to transport your cake is by putting it on the floorboard or in the trunk. Keeping your cake on a level surface is key! We strongly advise against putting your cake on someone's lap or directly onto the seat. No matter how short the distance!
Should I refrigerate my cake?
No need for buttercream cakes!* They can be stored at room temperature.
Cream cheese and chantilly cakes should be refrigerated and taken out a few hours before serving.
*These cakes will need to be refrigerated if there is any sort of fruit filling!
What about cupcakes?
Nope!* Those can also be stored at room temperature.
*With the exception of cream cheese frosting.
How long will my cake/cupcakes last?
All cakes have a shelf life of 3-4 days, with the exception of chantilly cakes, which have a 2-3 day shelf life.
Cupcakes have a 1-2 day shelf life.
How should I store my leftovers?
Leftover buttercream cakes and cupcakes should be stored in an airtight container and kept at room temperature.
Cakes/cupcakes frosted with cream cheese or chantilly, or cakes with a fruit filling, will need to be stored in an airtight container and placed in the fridge.
What about other desserts? For example: cakepops, pretzels, etc?
All other desserts can be stored at room temperature* and should be consumed within 3-4 days.
*With the exception of cinnamon rolls and banana pudding, those should be refrigerated.
